SOOTHING CREEK
A terrible accident struck the quiet little town of Soothing Creek. Overnight, the town was engulfed by the waves, and all its inhabitants were swept into the abyss with it. Several people risked venturing into the town to explore the ruins, but none of the unfortunate explorers returned.
But all these threats do not repel your curiosity. You decide to go there by yourself, armed only with your camera and your determination, to photograph what remains of this deserted city.
However, beware, because by venturing out, you run the risk of discovering things that should never have been revealed...

Un terrible accident a frappé la tranquille la petite ville tranquille de Soothing Creek. Du jour au lendemain, la ville fut engloutie par les flots, et tous ses habitants furent emportés dans l’abysse avec elle. Plusieurs personnes ont risqué de s’aventurer dans la ville afin d’en explorer les ruines, mais aucun des malheureux explorateurs n’est en revenu.
Mais toute cette menace ne repousse en rien votre curiosité. Vous décidez donc de vous rendre sur place par vous-même, armé seulement de votre caméra et votre détermination, afin de photographier ce qui reste de cette ville déserte.
Cependant, prenez garde, car en vous aventurant ainsi, vous prenez le risque de découvrir des choses qui n’auraient jamais dû être révélées…

The controls are horrible its so hard to move but another wise its beautiful and unique.

Great spooky atmosphere and cool concept, but I do have to say that the controls felt a bit clunky. Still, given this was made for a gamejam, it's understandable that some issues could occur. I would definitely love to see this further developed!

A unique set up with some design flaws.
The game definitely caught my eye just because it was a "boat" horror. Few game developers can make it believable to have such a unique atmosphere, the one like your game provides, although it does fail with the execution.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, the sound design, but, once again, the set up and mechanics seemed a bit odd, uncomfortable. I do realize this was made for a jam, which is the reason why that major complaint will be left as a suggestion note. Maybe with the improvement of the mechanics, the game can be easier and more enjoyable to play.

When rowing the boat, I was making sure I was not the next titanic.
(It was like iron lung, but DLC boat edition. Love the concept of the game, you use the boat mechanics to put fear onto the player. <great job man>)
